We plan, engineer and manufacture for your application: from conventional conveying technology to a storage and retrieval machine, or stacker crane, built around your requirements. Our flat hierarchy allows customer-focused decisions and very short lead times.

Our team brings decades of experience from developing, maintaining and operating storage machines. Proven engineering and fresh ideas add up to a modular system that adapts to your requirements rather than the other way round.

Vectron was founded in 2021 and has been part of the KNAPP group since 2023. For you that means a small team with short decision paths, backed by the experience and the spare parts supply of an international intralogistics group.

We have turned our vision into reality. With the Vectron modular system we offer a complete series from miniload to pallet machine: highly efficient and, thanks to bolted components, easy to bring in through a standard door.

Engineering

What sets our machines apart

  • Lightweight construction throughout

    High-strength aluminium materials and a patented mast structure save around 30 % of the mass compared with conventional machines. There is no need for an anti-sway drive at all.

  • Bolted, not welded

    There are no welded joints on the dynamically loaded parts, and therefore no cracked welds. All main assemblies can be taken apart.

  • Energy recovery

    Braking energy is not lost as heat, it goes back into the grid. That lowers consumption and the connected load a new installation needs.

  • Little to maintain, easy to reach

    The lifting belt replaces the steel wire rope: no re-lubrication, no rope changes. What does need doing is quick, because the control cabinet and the drives are reachable from floor level.

  • Quiet enough for the night shift

    High-performance polyurethane wheels on an aluminium rail, driven by belt rather than friction wheels: that brings the noise level down noticeably, anywhere people work next to the warehouse.

  • The controls are part of it

    Every machine comes with matched machine controls. They talk to your existing warehouse management system, and where several machines work together, the fleet control coordinates their trips.
